Video CVs launched to give help recruiters meet the person behind the application

Staff Finders are delighted to have launched a new Video CV service aimed at helping candidates to better sell their key skills, and employers learn more about their applicants.

The service includes a specially produced video script being developed and read out by a member of the Staff Finders recruitment team, with pictures of the candidate also used.

Lisa Dale, Operations Director at Staff Finders, says: “There is often a frustration that a CV doesn’t really do candidates justice, and we know how busy recruiters are and how difficult it can be for them when they are faced with a mountain of CVs.

“By producing a video CV, we can help candidates to identify and highlight their key skills and experience, whilst of course making the assessment and decision-making process easier for the recruiting business.

“We have already identified from this process how we can help make CVs stronger for our candidates, and how we can make the information more relevant for those looking for new, reliable and suitable staff.”
