Up to £15 per hour DOE Full Time

As a Painter in our Bathroom Pod manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, sealants, and finishes to prefabricated bathroom pods and their components. This includes preparing surfaces, mixing materials, and ensuring high-quality finishes in line with company standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, filling, and masking as needed.

• Mix and match paints and finishes to achieve desired color and consistency.

• Apply primers, paints, and coatings using spray guns, rollers, or brushes.

• Ensure consistent and high-quality finishes on fiberglass, metal, drywall, and plastic surfaces.

• Inspect painted surfaces for defects and perform touch-ups or rework as needed.

• Work from job specifications, drawings, and standard operating procedures.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of paints and tools.

• Follow all safety and environmental regulations related to paint application and chemical handling.

• Communicate with production and quality control teams to meet timelines and quality expectations.

• Assist with other finishing tasks such as caulking, sealing, and cleaning as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an industrial, commercial, or residential painter; experience in modular or prefab construction a plus.

• Familiarity with spray painting equipment and techniques.

• Knowledge of surface preparation methods and paint types.

• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and work in tight spaces.

• Ability to wear PPE and follow safety procedures.
